Château Palais Cardinal is our main wine. According to the traditional methods to make a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, we use a majority of Merlot, complete with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc to make a powerfull, fruity, and slightly oaked wine.
Tasting notes :
Lisa Perroti-Brown: “Medium to deep garnet in color, the Palais Cardinal 2017 opens with delicate flavors of currants, kirsch and bay leaves with a background of undergrowth. Softly textured, refreshing and medium bodied, it has a beautiful purity and an elegant finish ”
Jeb Dunnuck: “The Château Palais Cardinal 2017 is a magnificent Saint-Emilion. Spices, game and peppery herbs, as well as lots of black fruit give a full-bodied and elegant 2017, with fine tannins, impeccable balance and exceptional potential “
Yves Beck: “The dress for 2017 is garnet red with slight purple reflections. Filigree olfactory character where I note notes of cherries as well as a touch of freshness. On the palate, the wine is juicy, fine and perfectly balanced. We can already savor it in its youth.” 2027
